ONLINE RETURNS
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the item(s) within 30 days for a refund back to the original form of payment, less the shipping charge. Purchases made from a gift certificate will be refunded by an online store credit. Please return items in original condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered) with the tags attached. Items that do not meet these criteria will be denied. A separate box should be used to ship shoes with the original shoebox inside. The original shoebox should be free of damage and postal labels.
FINAL SALE
Earrings, cosmetics, gift certificates, and event tickets are final sale merchandise and cannot be returned. There are no returns or exchanges on merchandise marked as final sale, online or in-stores.
Because we cannot be responsible for packages mailed to us, we suggest that you use a trackable and insured mail service. Please allow up to 2 weeks from the time you mail your order for the return or exchange to be processed. An email will be sent to you once the return or exchange has been processed.

*AKIRA reserves the right to decline the return of your item(s), or assess a 15% re-stocking fee if the above terms have not been followed.
AKIRA can provide an electronic return shipping label upon request with our customer service department. A return shipping charge will be deducted from your refund unless AKIRA was at fault for mis-ship or damages on the original purchase.

EXCHANGES
If you would like to exchange an item, we suggest that you place a new order for the item you want before returning your original purchase. This will ensure that your exchange item is in stock. Once we receive your return, we will process a refund for the cost of the returned item plus the shipping charge applied to the new purchase.
We will send you an email with a detailed description of the adjusted amount.

As an added convenience to our local customers, we will be happy to perform an exchange or issue a store credit for your online purchase at any of our AKIRA stores. Any exchange or store credit will be given in compliance with our current in-store return policy, which requires a copy of your online order confirmation email or yourpacking invoice to be used as a receipt to obtain the original price paid within 14 days of purchase for any non-sale items returned in their original condition.
IN-STORE RETURNS/EXCHANGE POLICY
You may return the item(s) for store credit within 14 days of purchase in original condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered) with the tags attached. Items that do not meet these criteria will be denied. All sale items and accessories are final sale. Must provide purchase receipt.
INTERNATIONAL RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY
Returns and exchanges are accepted on full price merchandise that is return shipped within 15 days of delivery date. In the case of return, you will be refunded in U.S. dollars and your credit card company will exchange the currency.
In the case of an exchange, you will be responsible for the shipping charges to return the original item(s) and sending the new item(s). At this time, AKIRA cannot provide return shipping labels. All shipping charges are non-refundable.
AKIRA is not responsible for payment of customs, taxes, and duties. For specific information regarding custom policies and fees, please contact your local customs office.
