Payroll Admin - Excel Specialist

The Role:

  • Be responsible for a wide variety of activities related to on-boarding, termination, and timekeeping
  • Pulling and verifying reports using Excel
  • Regular communication (mass and one-on-one) with staff
  • Coordinate with the entire Payroll/HR team on procedures, problem-solving, and initiatives
  • Process data into various platforms, including entering new hire data into ADP
  • Assist in various HR duties, including COBRA Administration
  • Provide technical support/troubleshooting on the time clock and other platforms
  • Cut checks in Quickbooks
  • Sort checks for delivery, incoming mail, general office duties
  • Run reports from home one Saturday each month (about 2 hours)

Qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills: SUMIF, VLookup, comfortable with large spreadsheets
  • Minimum 2 years working in a data-driven role
  • Excellent customer service demeanor
  • Strong, concise communication skills – verbal and written
  • Ownership of your tasks, intelligent and focused
  • Experience with ADP or other HR systems is a plus
