Payroll Admin - Excel Specialist

The Role:
- Be responsible for a wide variety of activities related to on-boarding, termination, and timekeeping
- Pulling and verifying reports using Excel
- Regular communication (mass and one-on-one) with staff
- Coordinate with the entire Payroll/HR team on procedures, problem-solving, and initiatives
- Process data into various platforms, including entering new hire data into ADP
- Assist in various HR duties, including COBRA Administration
- Provide technical support/troubleshooting on the time clock and other platforms
- Cut checks in Quickbooks
- Sort checks for delivery, incoming mail, general office duties
- Run reports from home one Saturday each month (about 2 hours)
Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills: SUMIF, VLookup, comfortable with large spreadsheets
- Minimum 2 years working in a data-driven role
- Excellent customer service demeanor
- Strong, concise communication skills – verbal and written
- Ownership of your tasks, intelligent and focused
- Experience with ADP or other HR systems is a plus
