eCommerce Fashion Stylist (Catalog and Editorial)
AKIRA is looking for an eCommerce Fashion Stylist to create next level looks for its website. This person will be responsible for shopAKIRA.com’s visual style representation and will act as one of the main voices of AKIRA’s styling direction.
The Role:
- Creating and presenting looks for weekly product photo shoots and editorials
- Creating inspiration and mood boards for editorial shoots
- Organizing photo shoots from booking talent to locking in set locations
- Scouting/casting talent from hair and makeup stylists to models
- Leading high volume, very fast-paced shooting environments
- Working closely with the Director to maintain high quality image content that meets the brand’s aesthetic standards
- Managing and organizing the photo studio and samples
- Image selecting and renaming
- Managing internal product upload schedules and working closely with department heads to ensure all product goes live within the given timeframe
- Attend all content and creative meetings for planning and ensuring proper trend and idea execution
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
- An extremely talented eye for fashion, trends, and visual composition
- Strong knowledge of industry, celebrity, and social media fashion trends
- Strong ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communications skills with agencies and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Receptive to feedback and ability to continuously improve
- Extremely well organized and strong time management skills
- Candidates must have flexible schedules
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
