ALLOCATOR

The AKIRA Inventory Analyst will be responsible for maximizing the margin return of inventory in their division

The Role:

Allocation of new invoices
Weekly allocation of backstock to stores
Markdown and Promotion suggestions made with margin, inventory aging and space management in mind
Weekly review of aged product to capitalize on in-season transfer opportunities and maximize margin and sell through balancing potential savings against store labor costs
Weekly review of store & customer transfer requests for your division
Assessment of store groups with recommendations for change
Weekly Recap to team about store performance by category with suggestions for future buying/allocation strategies
Weekly Recap to team about space planning and management
Monthly hindsight of inventory wins and missed opportunities for future improvement
Work with inventory processing partners to keep inventory moving through warehouse efficiently
Manage communication with stores regarding allocation and space planning

Not intimidated by charts, numbers or uncertainty
Analytical and detail oriented
Decisive and clear communicator who can unravel and explain complicated problems
Has a “Whatever it takes” startup mentality
Comfortable in Excel using basic formulas and pivot tables
