Senior Payroll Administrator/Analyst

Overview
We are looking for a Payroll Administrator with very strong Excel experience and excellent organizational and communication skills to support our Finance and HR department. Hours for this position will be in the office, Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (or 8am-4pm) and will report to the Payroll Manager.
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for data entry, data audits, and connecting all of the information into a fully-checked payroll workbook to push through ADP. The Payroll Administrator will also handle the accounting portion of the role - entering journals into Quickbooks. The Payroll Administrator should be extremely comfortable using Excel, technologically savvy overall, and has excellent leadership and communication skills, in addition to maintaining a positive attitude and flexible approach with changing priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Required to be in the office M-F
- Pull various reports using Excel
- Handle various audits of data for compliance
- Assist in HR tasks related to employee maintenance
- Learn and take over payroll files
- Handle payroll-related accounting
- Handle payroll-related issues
- Other tasks as they arise
Skills/Qualifications:
- Very strong Excel - ability to understand how to work spreadsheets, use formulas, etc. is critical for this role
- Technologically savvy - can pick up new software quickly
- Extremely positive attitude
- Very strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Highly motivated - looking for growth
