AKIRA Warehouse Associate

AKIRA is coming to Bolingbrook! We are looking to hire associates to help start our Distribution Center!

Are you a fast-paced, detail oriented, and collaborative individual who thrives on delivering results? Then this may be the position for you! AKIRA is a Chicago-based Women's Fast Fashion Retailer with 30+ stores across the U.S. with a strong e-commerce presence. Due to rapid growth, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic and ready-to-learn Order Fulfillment Processor(s) as well as Inventory Processors to join our team.

Job Location

Bolingbrook, IL

Salary

$17 an hour

Day Shifts

• Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Tuesday - Friday, 6am to 4:30pm
• Saturday - Monday, 6am to 6:30pm

Responsibilities may include:

• Safely operate in a warehouse environment

• Perform warehouse duties such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping

• Able to push, pull, lift 50lbs continuously throughout the shift

• Work efficiently as part of a team

• Be able to receive and give feedback effectively

• Follow work instructions

• Operate scanners/computers related to warehouse operations

• Stand/walk 10 hours a day

• All other responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data

• Solid understanding of safety regulations

• Basic math and recording abilities

• Excellent organizational skills

• Great communication and interpersonal abilities

• Keen eye for detail

• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. based on needs of the role
