Online Return Policy
How long do I have to make a return?
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the item(s) within 30 days of the order shipment date for a refund back to the original form of payment, less the shipping charge.
Do I have to pay the return shipping?
We offer free return shipping using our prepaid shipping labels on all continental U.S. orders that are postmarked within 15 days of the arrival date. Any item(s) sent back after 15 days that use our pre-paid shipping label will have $7.95 deducted from your refund. Because we cannot be responsible for packages mailed to us, if you decide not to use our pre-paid shipping label, we suggest that you use a trackable and insured mail service and obtain a receipt for all shipments.
We are unable to issue return shipping labels outside of the 50 U.S. States at this time. All international returns are responsible for return shipping.
Please return items in original condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered)** with the tags attached. Items that do not meet these criteria will be not be accepted.
**AKIRA reserves the right to decline the return of your item(s) or assess a 15% re-stocking fee if the above terms have not been followed.
How do I get refunded if I paid with a gift card?
Purchases made with a gift certificate will be refunded to an online store credit.
How long does it take to get a refund?
Please allow up to 2 weeks from the time you mailed your order for the return to be processed. An email will be sent to you once the return or exchange has been processed.
How and where do I send my return?
Returns should be sent along with your Return Form to the address below:

Please drop off your return package with the Return Shipping Label affixed to your nearest UPS drop location.
A separate packaging box should be used to ship shoes with the original box inside.
If you use the Return Shipping Label provided with your order after 15 days of receiving the package, a Return Shipping charge of $7.95 will be deducted from your refund (unless AKIRA was at fault for a misship or damage on the original purchase.)
Am I able to exchange my item(s)?
Shopakira.com does not accept exchanges.
Can I return or exchange "Final Sale" items?
Any merchandise marked or specified as "Final Sale" may not be returned or exchanged.
Earrings, cosmetics, swimwear, bodysuits, tights, gift certificates and event tickets are final sale merchandise and cannot be returned. There are no returns and exchanges on merchandise marked as final sale, this applies to both online and in-store purchases.
International Return Policy
Returns are accepted on full price merchandise that is shipped back within 15 days of its delivery date. In the case of a return, you will be refunded in U.S. dollars and your credit card company will exchange the currency.
AKIRA is not responsible for payment of customs, taxes and duties. For specific information regarding custom policies and fees please contact your local customs office.
At this time, AKIRA cannot provide return shipping labels for any orders outside of U.S. All shipping charges are non-refundable.
